    I didn’t forget that the Jap subs missed 2 hits first round. But the rest of the stuff still rolled average. The US then rolled 1 less than average. If the US say rolled 2 above average 1st defense roll, it could have made a difference.

    I think the Iraqi defense rolls (4 hits!) and some of the other earlier round Italian defense dice really slowed me down in the beginning. They were small skirmish battles but I think they had a strategic level lasting impact. Perhaps it delayed the US spending in the Pacific by a round and maybe let Italy hold Cairo an extra round (maybe). I was determined to make a landing somewhere regardless. It might have helped delay that too.

    Interesting to see a different play style. You played Germany really well this game. Impressed!

    You have to take Hawaii or Anzac…, or at least have the stuff in place that can’t be stopped. Sorry. Japan is about to be too strong, probably can’t stop them once they have India. But I want to still try.
