  • I’m going to concede this one. bad decisions + bad luck = very little motivation to keep going. I’m finding myself dragging my feet with this one, and that’s not fair for you to have to wait for a turn, especially since you were already so patient with garg.

    Was the first time I tried this strategy and may be that surprised Axis because my usual G3 + J3 was not used. Then the extremely quick pace I think helped me too, playing allies requires more time than Axis when Axis is doing an ultra rapid invasion with a clearly defined strategy. I remember our game last year when I was starting in BM and you were controlling very well everything long term and don’t remember any questionable move short or mid term in that game. Here I think the Axis had the edge all the game, regardless of dice. Japan was able to revert the arts that shouldn’t have been there in CH1 in example, because its plan was robust I think, but perhaps having sacrificed the russians instead of retreating them from Manchuria after having declared war would have helped china, that is the kind of decision that may be with more time for analysis the allies would have taken with more considerarions that the pure battle average output. I may be wrong, but I felt your moves ahead mines last year and behind this one.

    In any case, you are always a tough opponent to respect and fear in any competition.

    I’m proud of having reached the final vs a great player and gent like you.
