    I thought so too, but then TripleA allowed it and I found this in the rulebook:

    The United States may not declare war on any Axis power
    unless an Axis power either declares war on it first or captures London or any territory in North America, or Japan
    makes an unprovoked declaration of war against the UK or ANZAC, after which it may declare war on any or all Axis
    powers on its following turn.

    How do you want to play this? I’m ok if you want to reset your Germany turn since that was a big factor in your move.

    Wow, you’re right. I can confirm the passage in the rule book. Thank you for offering a reset.

    Yeah, it was a huge factor. I counted on keeping the factory to produce units next round and to use the infantry to capture Ontario and New Brunswick. I also thought I might save at least part of the fleet

    I do think however, it’s my fault of not knowing the rules and I’m not a big fan of changing too many things afterwards (I would have declared war with Japan probably too).

    So thank you, but I’m gonna leave it as is.
