Hey, just so you don’t get confused that there are two set of dice E-Mails:
I had to redo the battle, because apparently I forgot to move the carrier the first time, but didn’t notice it until I started rolling the battles. Of course after the first round I realized the mistake, but I had to finish the battle before I was able to close the program.
Interestingly enough, the dice were almost the same the second time: Quebec went exactly the same again and in the sea battle, I scored 1 hit the first round again and you scored two hits again.
The only difference is, that you scored another hit in the second round, but I would have taken that hit on the tac, which crashed anyways.
So I did not need to do any edits.
I hope you are okay with it. I certainly did not want to cause any confusion

I thought so too, but then TripleA allowed it and I found this in the rulebook:
The United States may not declare war on any Axis power
unless an Axis power either declares war on it first or captures London or any territory in North America, or Japan
makes an unprovoked declaration of war against the UK or ANZAC, after which it may declare war on any or all Axis
powers on its following turn.How do you want to play this? I’m ok if you want to reset your Germany turn since that was a big factor in your move.

Wow, you’re right. I can confirm the passage in the rule book. Thank you for offering a reset.
Yeah, it was a huge factor. I counted on keeping the factory to produce units next round and to use the infantry to capture Ontario and New Brunswick. I also thought I might save at least part of the fleet
I do think however, it’s my fault of not knowing the rules and I’m not a big fan of changing too many things afterwards (I would have declared war with Japan probably too).
So thank you, but I’m gonna leave it as is.
