I assumed scramble because I was not also amphibious assualting, if you would not have truly scrambled feel free to add back on your fighter. As for my edit at the end I misclicked when taking a hit on a carrier and so took it on a tactical instead, these were on your retaliation hits after I had won the battle, so zero impact on the outcome.
