    That changes things A LOT as far as gameplay. I would have made very different Japan decisions, with placements etc.

    You have 18 PU, so if you bought 6 Infantry with that, my odds are 94%.

    It could have been worse, you know - I could have captured Tokyo one turn earlier (and with even better odds). That gave you some more free units with Japan and I also needed to invest 50 more IPC. Heavy mistake, due to wrong carrier placement.

    This is very annoying. It’s like we’ve played two different games, on the same board; the right rules that you’ve played after and adapted for, and the wrong rules, that I’ve been playing after.

    It’s so unfortunate that I’ve blown a huuuge lead down the drain, and have to go back to the drawing board, just because I wasn’t aware of this slight change to the rules for BM3. In my mind I had won now.

    I still believe I can win it, according to the correct rules, so as stubborn as I am, I’ll continue, but I can’t tell you how annoying this is, especially in light of the good dice you had in all of those smaller fleet battles, wiping my now, much needed bombers and planes.

    I would have planned differently if I knew I’d be setting up for the “long” run this suddenly turned out to be.

    Definitely takes the joy out of playing…

    Then again, there’s no way you could have known that’s I was unaware of this rule change in BM3. It’s my mistake, and my cross to bear.
