    I’m game to try Garg’s suggestion, as a separate continuum (Back to the Future).  Since it’s so abrupt, the allies would be caught short footed.  It would be a crazy game.  How would you modify the game’s underlying politics to override the existing alliances?

    But first, I want to play the current game out for a short while to see how close I could get to a Pacific victory.

    The 5 allied ftrs that remained for dice round 3 all hit, and each died twice, which is no consolation to me.  I took more hits than calculated, but still had a net TUV of 89 and net TUV of about 123 for the turn.  In order to save 4 of 5 CVs, I had to lose excess ftrs and 2 bombers.  Because there were no excess ftrs to protect them, my bombers had to go to Phil.  I would have liked to have used all my ftrs from Phil in the naval battle, but India is precarious.  Should be interesting as to how ANZ/US protect both Queensland and the currently unguarded capital.  What I would do for more loaded transports in sz54.
