    haha yah that move is a life saver at times. cheesy or not, it is legit and not a loophole, just not as commonly known or as obvious, until you get bit by it :) then you will remember it always :)

    as for the NOs, I think in practice, russia struggles to get those NOs, at least most of them. I think those NOs is what keeps russia viable actually, since in vanilla russia basically was a walk in the park for germany. even now in bm, axis still has the advantage!

    Yeah but its not that big of an axis advantage.  I just have a problem with the sz 80 NO’s  Russia really has no reason to receive an objective for territories or a sz they almost never contend for.  Just my two cents, and it still seems wrong to me that you can earn more in objectives than you actually occupy in territories.  Not sure what a good fix for that should be though.

  • just a reminder, in case tripleA doesn’t enforce it, those tps in sz6 cannot participate in any noncom (including loading up troops) if they stay there during combat, as they would have already participated in combat. therefore I could keep doing the dd drop “trick” on them so long as they remain there. only way out of that predicament is to move them out and away from that sz during during combat movement. I know, it’s a nasty move, but all the more reason NOT to yield up Korea!

    @axis-dominion:

    just a reminder, in case tripleA doesn’t enforce it, those tps in sz6 cannot participate in any noncom (including loading up troops) if they stay there during combat, as they would have already participated in combat. therefore I could keep doing the dd drop “trick” on them so long as they remain there. only way out of that predicament is to move them out and away from that sz during during combat movement. I know, it’s a nasty move, but all the more reason NOT to yield up Korea!

    Oh I am well aware of the annoyance of my mistake.  That’s why I’m so mad at myself for not loading the transports last turn.  Now you have two turns of not having to worry about transport loads.  I let you off the hook for a bit.  Would’ve been a different story this turn.  I am also not a big fan of letting Korea go but I thought I’d try something different with the Manchuria factory and playing some D with it.  JDOW did it to me and it worked out pretty well for him.  But with Russia making too many bonuses I needed to abandon it to put more pressure on them and help Germany.
