What Happened to WarZone and live play online via CD-Rom version of the game?

Are there any current options to play the most recent version of the CD-Rom game online?

Any former Spring 1942 members still active here?

I’m not keen on the play by forum route, if there is still a live game possibility…

There is: Download and install TripleA and the maps you are interested in. After launching TripleA hit “Play Online” to join the so-called “Lobby”.
There you can play live games. See the stickied threads here in the software section for further information.
