Really? I see you lost 112, 96 and Ethiopia in the dice emails but Taranto succeeded. UK have had a pretty major setback I suppose. Most people will manually post a save of the state of the game at the end of the battles, just so it’s easy to see why you’re conceding.
I don’t quite understand the SZ112 attack. It was a negative expected value if I scrambled and required stripping some other attacks of units.

Also, in case you want to take risks, I am surprised you did not choose they way more juice target in Holland. 4 tacs that can be killed with 55% chance sounds way better than the 39% odds in 112.
Also, Holland would not have been a do or die mission. Even if Germans e.g. win with 1 Tac remaining the battle would have been a success. Just skip 97 in that case and safely take 96 down and you have a game.
You are right, it was too risky. My failure to start the game with a sound strategy is what shot my confidence and led me to through in the towel rather than struggle in a game so disadvantaged. In this game, like in the game of chess, you always make mistakes and then hope to recover. It was just too big of a mistake and too early in the game. My apologies, I do feel conflicted.

Hmm, I’ve never run the numbers on that Holland attack. No one has ever made that attack - I guess there would be another fighter there if it lived through the SZ111 battle. Probably should put the third AA Gun there in that outcome.
