how bout you do it together
whoever comes first to 19 999( Jen probably ) waites for the other one, and then you arrange that you ll post your post at the same time each of you( it can even be in the same topic :wink: )and then you dont post for somehours so both of you have 20 000 posts on your account
and then you move forward to 30 000 :wink:

Umm, I do, TG Moses VI was the post leader for a couple years, then I believe CC passed him, then came the switchmeister…
I remenber when TG was going for 5k and I was at a couple hundred I thought I would never get to 1k. Of course I read more than I post and I spend way too much time trying to make sure some people are behaving :roll:

Moses was “leaving” when I started posting as a member so that would be about 4 and a half years ago… Supposedly though, he posted 100+ posts in one day. Hard core dude, except I think Switch has topped that :wink:

I MIGHT have posted 100 posts in a day before, but those would have been dice rolls mostly… Moses was here before gaming (and the in-site dicey) became dominant on the boards.
Overall I am just under 24 posts per day, and that is an average over the past 2 years, 3 months.

It seems that, with the Tournament Admin duties, and with my own games, that I remain more than 100 posts ahead…
The race for 20,000 appears to be on!

No, you just blitz posted like 120 posts a day or two ago, but I’m pulling ahead again. Doesn’t help I finished off three games. I only have the two against Bean (which he has not posted in for two weeks now), a game against EM and a game against Perry right now. I normally have 7-10 games going at the same time. (If I do more, I lose all the game. 7-10 lets me at least be competitive.)

It can be. But you’ll notice that most games just fall into a rhythm. Allies go for Berlin, Axis go for Africa and Moscow. Once you get past the first 4 rounds, it’s pretty much autopilot unless something drastic happens.

THAT’S why I don’t particularly like straight revised games.

There are other places to get Enhanced games (AH ~ gleemax, AAMC, etc)
Slowly we’ll get the A&ARe player base growing here too. :-) :-) :-)

I think its pretty simple. The more VCs the less autopilot gameplay.
Of course once you get to a certain number of VCs its stupid so you’ve got to add the complexity of variable weight.Too bad AARHE is not likely to make an impression.
Its just not very PBEM or PBF friendly. -
I’d like to see major and minor VCs. A major VC counts as 1, but it takes 3 minor VCs to equal one major VC. Any territory worth 2 or more would be a minor VC unless it’s designated a major VC.
This means Egypt and S. Africa would be minor VCs. Archangelsk, Novosibirsk, Kazakh as well. W. Russia, Ukraine, Balkans, E. Europe again. China/Sinkiang. Etc.
