    well……looks like I have a pretty solid chance of a sea lion here. It was certainly not my intention when I started the game. Also the challange is I claim axis are still overpowered in BM3. Sea lion isn’t exactely scripted play but given the poor result in the scramble G1 it is now an option.

    If going for sea lion is fair in this game I don’t know given what we agreed on, but you also kind of accepted the risk when engaging in the scramble G1 given my massive sea lion threat

    No, you feel free to play whatever you want - if Sealion is optimal at this point, DO IT!!!  :-)

    I’m glad you haven’t moved yet - my back went out Friday morning and I’m still recovering.  This is the first I’ve checked the boards since then.

    This game is one of those 10 or 20%'ers that might have got decided for us by dice, and that’s OK.  Forget about the challenge at this point - the unusual G1 kind of threw that out on us, and that’s OK.  I also don’t blame you if you don’t rematch me - I have fallen in love with my Playstation more than ever, so play A&A pretty slow as you know  :-(

    However, if you build for Sealion (I mean what are the chances - you build all fleet on G1 and then lose only 2 planes even though I scrambled) G2, who knows what the dice will do to you on the invasion.  I will play at least until G3 no matter what (unless I check odds and see it is really unlikely you will even lose much, in which case I am prepared to resign after G2)

    So at least you are likely to get a win in only 2-3 rounds, which makes me feel a little better about being slow for you.

    I would like to delay it for some more time (feel free to cancel if you like), like 2 weeks. I am busy with a lot of things and want to priortize amon sul, axis-d and wittman over the next two weeks where my time is limited, some of those games will finish up and my time will free up too

    Anyway, with 2 bombers and 3 escorts vs 3 interceptors, I will of course not intercept.  I need maximum airpower to hit Scotland with, and my fighters will defend on a 4 against the Sealion

  • I’ve really been absorbed by new PS4 games…

    Well now your strat bomb run went great too, and it would be fun to fight as Russia, but then I see and remember the disaster in North Africa too.  Given your strong record in league play this year, this is a doomed cause.

    Sorry you had to wait another month to get the victory on your record, but I do need to resign this cause.  Punched in the mouth by the Axis and lost in 1 round.  Even with London falling on G3, the USA doesn’t even get any extra income, and Russia only gets to enter on round 3 instead of possibly round 4.  Can’t even transport units from Canada because you won that battle too.  Everything worked - well played


  • No question i have been very lucky in this game and i also think it would be hard for you, but there is always a chance for a diceing in London…… I did not expect/plan for this game to turn into a sea lion. But then again i did not expect you to scramble to 110.

    But your unpredictable style is fun to play!
