Too bad, this game is now already entirely screwed up by the dice.
You get a near flawless G1, your partly risky J1 DOW works also great.
And now that worst case disaster for UK. Losing in 96 was the worst and then 3 hits in 97!!! LOL plus the double hit in FIC.
Including the strategic impact that +10 bid turned into at least -50 now.in a live game I might just flip that board at this stage and call it a game.
As this is the play-off game I will just suffer a painful, slow death from now.

Really the only thing that went really bad was 96, you can choose other causalties for 97 (it went bad, sure, one extra unit lost). The double hit in FIC , you must be prepared for, happens 1 out of 10 times
96 is a hate zone for me after loosing that battle with the same units two games in a row…… And after all no one “complains” more about dice than JDOW. Good to see you stick with the score even though it sucks big fat one. Kudos

Yes, after 96 fail the entire taranto game plan collapses. Other casualties dont help. With the extra tt the air is nowhere safe. Also, 1 fig has to land in yugo in case i damage the carrier. I havent seen a better option. And i was too much on tilt to explore to land the air in syria protected by tank and mech. But iEverything is ill in the med after 96 fails and not just enough, italians even keep the dd.

Well, ME1945, probably just give me a night to reconsider my casualty choice in 97 if you don’t mind.
I admit, I was on tilt and I did not consider that I lost in 96. The idea to keep max defense in 9 is of course to not give Italy an easy shot on the fleet.
Now, with the extra DD Italy has a shot for sure, so I’d like to explore the option to land as much air as possible in Syria.
Still, I would need your approval anyway as I might not have known that you’ll hit a third time in round 2.

I considered to land in Malta but refused because you could hit with 7 units total. In Syria, however, your figs cannot reach. Maybe I try to land my air there.
Still, this gives Italy other free shots anyway, so they go crazy for sure.
