    I think you were calling the game too soon. I saw an action plan to get the Allies on top that still make it a game!

    1 ) UK opened up canals in Thailand

    2 ) Allowing the Anzac fleet to remove the blocking Yamamoto fleet

    3 ) Allowing the Dutch to assault Tokyo with 4 transports and 2 fighters…and win with two tanks left.

    4 ) France will have to purchase a naval unit and place it via N.FrenchIndoChina  to stop Yam from pulling 4 units for a counterattack. Then the Yam only has 1 art that can try. Hisaichi may take it back, but that will be a full two rounds before Yam collects then buys and places new units. Plenty of time for Anzac to get their newly acquired Japanese territories with factories and produce at the same time.

    Now there’s 53 production on the books that the Axis will never get back. The Axis theatre will shrivel and die in the Pacific, making it a crazy East vs West game. The Dutch can support India, China and Anzac will push Japan off the mainland, and the US can slowly take back its islands at your leisure.

    I’d say it could still be a game if you want to keep going.  You can look over the UK/Anzac/Dutch purchases, NCMs and such and make changes. I went for max Defense in India while not letting London go completely.

    Sure thing! One thing the Japanese have difficulties with is the possibility for other powers to do “can-opener” moves. The US can throw out a blocker and stop Yamamoto from attacking easy. The US has Anzac/Dutch/UK or even the Russians sometimes that can destroy blockers.

    I think if the Dutch capital isn’t taken, the best thing to do is buy planes as the Dutch as much as you can. They protect your capital AND threaten naval units and unprotected transports.
