That is the problem about sea lion in BM. In case Russia can stack EP in the sea lion turn, they have a higher income than Germany from there for at least a while.

Yeah, I thought I was pretty much done in this game. But it seems to me that it is still competitive and being able to get your Italian fleet definitely made a difference.
I was surprised you chose a G4 sea lion instead of a G3. I can guess at the reasons ((in keeping the US and the Soviets out another turn and their income down, conserving air, and in making sure the landing force can’t be wiped out by the units in Scotland) but I had still assumed that you would go for it G3. When it is no longer game relevant, I’d be interested in your thinking there and whether you feel it paid off.
I had thought after my turn that I hadn’t played that as well as I should. That I was better off just stacking London and (assuming a G3) hoping that i could just trade for a lot of your air, rather than dividing my forces.

Yeah, I’d be in a much better spot if I hadn’t blundered the Italian fleet… :-P
Yeah, I thought I was pretty much done in this game. But it seems to me that it is still competitive and being able to get your Italian fleet definitely made a difference.
I was surprised you chose a G4 sea lion instead of a G3. I can guess at the reasons ((in keeping the US and the Soviets out another turn and their income down, conserving air, and in making sure the landing force can’t be wiped out by the units in Scotland) but I had still assumed that you would go for it G3. When it is no longer game relevant, I’d be interested in your thinking there and whether you feel it paid off.
I had thought after my turn that I hadn’t played that as well as I should. That I was better off just stacking London and (assuming a G3) hoping that i could just trade for a lot of your air, rather than dividing my forces.
Mostly had to do with Japan being in a bad way. Delaying gave them a free turn to wipe out the Anzac sea units and reorganize before USA got in.
