yep. I figure if I do tremendously well with the US attack, that maybe the UK attack will register as a long shot. But even that is quite unlikely. Will still try though and concede after the UK turn.

When I was planning this I made the mistake of thinking that I could take either Italy or Germany in Europe to block a pacific win. I realized it before the last US/UK turn but by then I was already committed. So I hoped for Germany but I figured Adam would see it and in stacking Germany, I would at least be able to take Italy and grab much of the rest of West Europe.

My thinking once it was clear that he could get a pacific win was to delay him there and try to break Germany and grab one of the European capitals. And because I had to do it fast I put most of the spending in Europe. I wasn’t quite as efficient as I could have been in doing this and I’m wondering now if I should have tried to make sure I had one more turn in the pacific and one more turn with Russia, that maybe I would have had a better chance. You’d have to hold or keep trading Germany in order to force Japan to have to get 7 VCs, which wouldn’t be too difficult in this situation too. I don’t see Allies being able to trade Germany since US’ air should be gone, and UK’s mostly gone as well even if a miracle happens.
