    yep. I figure if I do tremendously well with the US attack, that maybe the UK attack will register as a long shot. But even that is quite unlikely. Will still try though and concede after the UK turn.

    When I was planning this I made the mistake of thinking that I could take either Italy or Germany in Europe to block a pacific win. I realized it before the last US/UK turn but by then I was already committed. So I hoped for Germany but I figured Adam would see it and in stacking Germany, I would at least be able to take Italy and grab much of the rest of West Europe.

    My thinking once it was clear that he could get a pacific win was to delay him there and try to break Germany and grab one of the European capitals. And because I had to do it fast I put most of the spending in Europe. I wasn’t quite as efficient as I could have been in doing this and I’m wondering now if I should have tried to make sure I had one more turn in the pacific and one more turn with Russia, that maybe I would have had a better chance. Probably not. And I’m not sure I could have been able to keep Russia and Hawaii for another turn and still put pressure on Germany.

    You’d have to hold or keep trading Germany in order to force Japan to have to get 7 VCs, which wouldn’t be too difficult in this situation too. I don’t see Allies being able to trade Germany since US’ air should be gone, and UK’s mostly gone as well even if a miracle happens.

    You don’t take enough risks. A 90% battle can be too risky for me, depending on the position. Also, you use blockers way too much. They cost a lot, and you used 2 dds to block me from retaking Iwo on many occasions, and most of those occasions I wouldn’t have taken it back even if it weren’t blocked. That cost US around 1 round of purchases over the course of the match which is significant.
