Seriously, what where the odds Germany losing only 4 planes to take Egypt?
First the over average battle by the Italians and then this unreal result against so many 4s in defense.
I believe this is top 5% or even better.

Yep, and you only had these odds because of the over average Italian suicide mission :-)
However, I did not expect to win such a battle but I believe I am due that at least one big battle goes at least to odds and not in the top20% range for the Axis every single time. if at least Egypt would have gone to odds I would not have complained. But losing only 4 air instead of 7/8 is really insane, especially as I had mostly 4s in defense which means that the variance is way lower.
Still, the Axis paid their price to get Egypt and my red super power punishes this already :-)

This is the reason why I never played risky strategies with the Axis.
I believe you had a 40-50% chance to be dead already (in case Italy fails leaving bad odds for Germany) or in case Germany’s attack goes south or if Japans attack goes so bad that I can kill the fleet in the upcoming US turn.
Now you got the dice you needed, more actually and I still think the Axis have a lot of issues because the neglected major objectives for the Hawaii and Egypt adventures :-)
Still, I admit I actually did not hope for the Germans to fail at all at Egypt, I just hoped for an average result as this is new ground and I am curious how a game evolves given the recent events.
