  • I blew this one. Thailand wasn’t able to open up the sea lane for Yamamoto. All in all, I like the larger scale of the map, but, it feels like a step backward with the earlier rule system and lack of air and naval bases. I probably wasn’t aggressive enough as the Axis. Maybe I’ll look up a few completed games see how they do their first couple of turns.

  • Want to try the battle map then? I don’t really care which one I do, it just feels odd to bid for the Allies when I don’t care to play them. Actually I tend to prefer the allies, I just don’t want to embarrass myself with the Axis.
