    You should start using the battle calculator more. It said you had less than a 50% of winning. That makes it a risky move. I check before all the big battles I’m about to do.

    At least in this one there’s no Russian or UK fleet, so your ability to rebound is greatly increased. And France went as expected with a lot of reinforcements possible, especially with the threat of UK landings nonexistent.

    I think it offsets my US disaster in round one where I lost my entire navy!  :-o  Should have had two carriers plus destroyers to spare, but lost it all but planes.  :-P We’re even. lol

    No apologies needed. It’s a part of playing a dice game. I’ve had plenty of total disaters that make you think, “Why do I even play this game?” It really sucks when you can point to a specific blunder as why you lost.

    That’s a part of the reason I like World At War a little more. There are so many more spaces, money, units, that if feels a bit more forgiving for a single colossal dice failure. There’s more opportunity to recover. I feel like in G40, one mistake and that’s it.
