I’ve been rolling amazing dice in my other team game and another pbem game, but I can’t seem to get a break in this game. Air attack on 4 ground troops in N.Persia and they give 3 hits instead of 1 1/3 average. But it stops the flow of ground troops to the Ger front line.

I was surprised when Ger moved its stack from N. Persia>Persia several turns again. Sure, it blocked the flow of troops from India>Iraq, which was the biggest source of Brit reinforcements. And it brought India in range of Ger bombers. But it also meant that ALL of Ger’s reinforcements had to pass by the Allied stack to reach the Axis stack. It took a while to get the ANZ air force into position. It had to be an ally that followed Brit, as the U.S. would have suffered from AA fire. I will be interested in seeing what the Axis do to counter this new development. And will the Ger’s take the Rus terr’s vacated by Brit, or will it leave them for Jpn to reclaim them.

At the end of round 26, the allies have a 69 PU per turn advantage. But this overstates the Allies actual ability to out build the Axis. UKPac underspent by 5 PU and China’s builds from its 29 PUs, can’t be used outside of China. So the allies advantage is half of what it appears to be. 35 extra PUs per turn will take a long time to push back the axis. Each side has been looking for ways to outmaneuver the other side, or counter the other side’s maneuvering. Italy and Japan have resisted being neutralized despite massive American resources thrown against them. Japan starts the game with more TUV than anyone else, while Italy has many N.O.s it can claim and is protected by Ger.

With J doing so poorly G had to do something and this was about the only aggressive move I could come up with.

I did not scr for you in Iraq as it would have been suicide.
Also 2 of my figs were accidentally instructed to fight the stack in Iraq when they should have been escorting the bombers. So I edited to under that error.

Oh man, I wasn’t thinking that after Ger took back N. Persia, that it could NCM the remaining mech units into Persia. At least my AA finally hit. I put too many U.S. ftrs in India, forgetting that UKPac was going to build ftrs. U.S. will return half of its ftrs from India to Iraq this turn for intercepting, defense and offense. Japan should file a letter of protest that the Germans took 2 Rus terr that had belonged to Japan.
