Didn’t see Italy posted turn or other chat until now. Verizon stopped servicing its email accounts, so I switched to AOL and it is putting some email notifications directly into trash, not inbox. Something to do with multiple receiving devices, i.e., cell phones and computer. I noticed that Italy might invade Gib and planned on putting ftrs there, but either noticed after my turn was posted or forgot about it. Bummer, its easier to reinforce than recapture. Thanks for the compliments guys. Just wait for more excitement from the allies.

Finished U.S., will post in the morning after China and Brit. I overlooked Japan dd in sz16 during combat, so ran another version of the game for marti’s and edited the results before end of U.S. turn. Sank dd. Don’t know why Japan put dd blocker, as U.S. wasn’t strong enough to attack Japan. Also, don’t know why Ger built airfield in Ger, since U.S. has few bombers to attack Ger fleet and Ger can scramble from W. Ger.

Sorry that Witt has lost interest in this game, but it only gets worse for you. PP has hardened his Rus targets, so the Amer bombers need new targets. With the Chinese base in Manch, I don’t need a big fleet in Hawaii to hammer Japan. Steady allied excess of 40+ points per turn, means allies are no longer in survival mode and can go on the offensive. Altho, Italy and Japan are not dead by any means and the victory city criteria is still very much in Axis favor. One slip up and the Axis win. It will take endless turns for allies to take out every Axis capital. We probably wouldn’t want to continue forever. What makes this game interesting for me, is the changing strategies. U.S. bombers strike, Ger responds with AA and change in troop routes. China has more troops than Japan or Italy and is fortress China, from which allies can foray out and harass the axis.
