how is this even fun to play if each turn takes about a month?
We both had babies recently.
I´m up to continue and I think Garg will be soon too.
Juan
cool. congrats to both of you!

Juan
Thank you!!
Hey Garg! We should continue this battle!
Juan
Lets speed up Sir!, the tournament awaits, we cannot keep this longer. Please concede and we can continue it for fun at whatever pace to see who is best!
It would be a shame for a play off game to be decided by someone being bumped out.
The only shame is to opt-in for a playoff and then just refuse to play.
If the schedule does not allow this or if family needs to have the clear priority, its totally fine. But why block a seat for the play-offs and let the entire league suffer from that? Just do not opt-in and everything is fine.
Juan, bump this guy every 3 days. Even it’s the final, whatever. As I remember he started only one game with a top rated player and dropped it.
Spot on!
It would be a shame for a play off game to be decided by someone being bumped out.
For the record, when I posted this, I didn’t mean that it would be a shame to bump him out, but it’s a shame that it is possible.
Ok, agree then:-)
Garg and I discussed, unfortunatelly he will not have time now. Family keeps needing all the attention.
Given the other quarter final is near finalization, he concedes and I will claim the game. (thanks for sportmanship Garg)
We will play it for fun when time permits and will show the world who is best! jaja
Cheers
Juan
Frankly, I do not know what sportsmanship you are talking about. This outcome was blatantly obvious 4 months ago already. Everybody told that but Garg insisted of blocking the playoff seat.
So the result is that one play-off game was now totally wasted, a player gets a bye and a potential other player that would have loved to participate was blocked by Gargs stubbornness.
The way Garg (non)handled this situation by just disappearing (and comeon, I have 2 little kids too, having a kid does not mean that it becomes impossible to have 3 minutes to drop a post here), and being unfriendly and aggressive towards people who pointed out that this is not right.
This was certainly the worst sportsmanship I have experienced in 5 years of the league here.
JDOW, given that he could have dragged it out further, it’s a step in the right direction. I agree, too bad for one of the players who just missed the playoff (Wheatbeer?).
It is obvious that the intention was to play, not everyone can anticipate the future as good as JDOW. Don’t know about your issues in the past but please don’t bring them here. Garg was always a gent with me, and here with the tournament too.
You‘re right. Sorry Juan!
