Losey dice rolling again. Used 5 U.S. bombers to take out 3 Ger mech on first round, but only hit 2. Surviving mech hit a bomber on second round. That’s 5 chances at 4 vs 3 chances at 2, and I lose double the TUV. But when I attack a solo Italian dd, 5 of 8 planes hit. Also, 2 of the 3 bombing raids only rolled 1, so damage of only 3 per IC. Then, Brit attack 2 Ger subs with dd, sub and ftr. That’s 3 dice with total attack of 7 vs 2 dice with total defense of 2. Subs, defending at 1, rolled snake eyes and sank Brit dd and sub (Ger subs also sank). At least Jpn is pushed out of Man and China has regained all of its terr.

The game is indeed slowly shifting in my favor. It would have shifted more if the Jpn in Borneo hadn’t made a Banzai charge and died to a man sacrificing themselves and killing the ANZ invaders. Emperor Hirohito expressed his pride in them by naming car brands after Corporal Toyoda and Sargent Honda. Allied income production now exceeds Axis by 50 P.U. a turn. The loss of the 5 point Brit N.O. hurts. Italy and ANZ have similar income and unit stats.

And UKP has similar income too. The US and UK can pretty much ignore Japan. :cry:

Keep building those AA guns, I bought stock in Rheinmetall at the beginning of the U.S. bomber campaign. You’ve built 17 AA in the past 5 turns, that’s almost Ger’s entire annual income for a year.

Stayed up too late again and needed some edits. You must have noticed marti’s hours ago but no save file. There are so many icons in Iraq, that they cover up Persia. U.S. meant to attack Persia, but moved to NCM. So I opened a second version and performed combat for Persia and you can see the marti’s. Then I edited that into the original save game. Also edited in China turn, U.S. planes in China that should have moved in NCM. This game is getting interested but complicated. Japanese strike back nicely while protecting their tt. ANZ got depleted and Witt wisely took advantage, forcing U.S. to build in Pacific.

Mixed dice, no AA hits against Amer bombing raids, but dice in naval battles perverse. Ger dd didn’t return fire where U.S. had subs to take hit. But Ital dd returned fire where no subs to take hits, so I lost a bmber. Japan down to 29.
