    Playing America is starting to become fun.  It starts out as a sideshow.  But now that the allies are almost defeated, yet the U.S. homeland is safe, I have all this mad money that I can spend freely, push my weight around, save the day.  Buy 6 bombers or ftrs, or 2 loaded cv’s, or 6 subs at a time.  No more slow troop ships.  Hold the Caucasus.  The Italians resist being slowly squeezed, so the sledge hammer has to come down hard.  Japan is losing China, but it was obvious that it could fight back elsewhere.  We will fight them on the beaches, in the hedgerows.  We shall never surrender.

    I so dislike when very favorable dice are wasted on a meaningless result.  Ger rolled 1/10 attacking Ukr and Brit rolled 2/2.  But the end result was Ger retook Ukr and lost 2 and killed 2.  I would have preferred Ger roll 9/10 and waste good hits on my 2 defenders.  I knew Axis would expand eastward while waiting to build up forces to take Cau.  The fireworks have just begun.
