    Please realize a big chunk of why you might consider yourself behind what you feel you should have is that there was never a declaration of war by the Axis on anyone not already at war from the get go.  That puts a serious crimp on expansion.  This upcoming turn is where you should see gains, as long as you got your pieces in place.
