It is very unbalanced. The fact that the UK can place 191 units in India , doesn’t help. What was wrong with setting a limit of 4?
Africa is silly too. Is a total side show, with the CPs unable to reibforce in any way.

I do not think I have list as Axis so find it hard to relate to the allies having such an advantage. Nevertheless won as the allies today so who knows!

Wish I had more local players for face-to-face games, especially retired players like myself who could play during the week. I like all kinds of strategy games, Settlers, Ticket to Ride, Dominions, non A&A military games.

I have taught 25 or more friends and family to play A&A Ed. Each month I play 1941 with 2 different groups and an all day A&A game once. Then get together with another member of the forum each month - we are currently playing 40G. Meet up with Leo every 3 months - played Bulge last couple of times. Also I arrange a quarterly A&A event to which we usually get 7 or 8 players. So perhaps 56 F2F games per annum! Plus occasional players like the family.
It is so very much more enjoyable than playing remotely. :-)
Have Settlers ( 2 different groups each month) and Dominion. Plus 7 Wonders, Through The Ages and many more. My wife hates games and thinks I am weird!

Wow Adam, impressible, I’m jealous. Play so infrequently ftf that we’re slow and can’t complete more than a few turns per meeting. That’s also because it’s usually only two players. Face to face is much more fun because of social interaction and tactile, actually feeling the playing pieces. But if you are interested in playing settlers, etc. on-line, let me know.

There are also a number of events in the States, if you want to take a look.
In the UK we have a much smaller A&A community and had no events at all. So I realised that if I wanted to play my favourite game I would have to do something about it.
I am gamed out on-line with A&A and Through the Ages. My ongoing intention of reducing the number of games I play is stymied by my inability to decline a rematch. :roll: Fortunately I can say No to starting something new! Sorry Ed! :-)
