Sovietishcat won as allies in G40, with no bid? Am I reading that right?

JDOW defeats Omega1759 in the 2018 quarter final. Allied had a great position at the end of the third round but the wind turned in the war against Japan.

I have to clarify that the dice preferred me heavily in this game. In turn 3 I blundered with Japan and lost 4 defenseless transports against an Indian/Anzac Airbase move. Usually this means death to Japan and thus the Axis. After I realized that I could hold sz6 the next turn and rebuild transports I gave it a shot and tried to fight. MARTI was my biggest ally in that fight. There weren’t any big battles but in almost every battle I suffered close to zero losses when attacking while Omega suffered extremely when attacking. This added up to an extent that Axis got the upper hand again.
With average dice after my blunder the game might go on but the Axis would be in serious trouble.
With good dice for the Allies Omega would progress.

Game will count when you both get to 10 games finished - you have to complete 10 games before you can play the same person more than best of 3 (and have it count)
This rule is there to keep people from just continuously playing the same opponents - helps other people get league games
