What do I need to play on-line?

I have a 98edition A&A-won’t run on my P4with WinXP-runs on my old P3with Me2000.It also doesn’t seem to have the capability to auto join multiplayer games.
I would assume a newer game would be in order!

I can’t help you much if you are just looking for PC versions. I do my online play by post on the forums here. I’ve just got a couple of games started after a long hiatus.
There is a program called TripleA that a lot of folks use but I really don’t know much about it for real-time multiplayer. It has a lousy AI. You might check out the Software/Development boards.
