    I have no idea how you did so well in Eastern Poland but congrats.  Nice 80ish IPC pickup you badly needed; in what should have been a -15 or so.  Friggin miracle on the eastern front for you!

    Yeah, the East Poland result was a possibility but not at all likely. When I did the odds, I had a 52% of winning with an average of 10 units surviving if I won. So I beat that substantially.

    If I lost that, I would have been done, and it is not at all a combat I normally would go for at all.  But I was thinking that if I waited until turn 4 to attack the Soviets I would be done anyway. This keeps me in the game.
