@barnee I doubt that it is something on your end. I am regularly experiencing this, getting “temporarily unavailable due to heavy load” messages almost every day.
It’s not only bound to the login but to the access to the forum in general.

Well, Google has stated that sites without SSL will be deprioritized in search results. I’m trying to get ahead of the game.
I also need to set up a proxy so that www.axisandallies.org/forums/ can point to a different server but not appear to be a different server. (Proxy is in place as of 11/1). So with a proxy, adding SSL should be easy.

Lol no problem.
I still want to keep things a “little” fun around here where possible. Even if it does encroach on the rules sometimes… thanks for understanding. I’ll keep that in mind for future images.

With the new forums, I think it will be better at keeping it under control automatically.
In the meantime, think Facebook or Twitter meme image size. Just big enough to get the point but it fits nicely in the flow of the conversation.

Let us know if there is anything we can do to assist and resolve Jensen. :P I’m sure it has to do with SSL not liking the security of third party software logging into the website, and attempting to upload files…

No, it’s just the TripleA software not handling a redirect (which should be 301 not 302) to https. Ugh, okay. I’ll re-enable non-secure connections.

Thanks for the note about the error, a 302 redirect could have decimated SEO/traffic to this site. It is now a 301 redirect but TripleA still might be broken.
Can somebody try posting a game via TripleA and see if you get the same error.

I did not test 7378 but I can confirm it works fine with 7386!

I just did a turn successfully with 7378. Maybe someone in authority should do an announcement to tell everyone to switch up?

TripleA version 7378 and later should work now. We will most likely update the official download on the TripleA site later today.
