Global War for AA Europe and AA Pacific?

My buddy recently picked up AA Pacific for $8 from a thrift store in great condition. He gave it to me as a gift and offered to dedicate a table in his basement to keep it set up for long games we couldn’t finish.
I don’t remember who’s idea it was, but we decided to get AA Europe and combine them for a huge game. I picked up a used copy in great condition for $25.
After doing some reading I realised you need AA Europe and Pacific 1940 to play Global. Is there a variant that lets me play Global with the old versions of Europe and Pacific? I don’t feel like owning a bunch of different AA games, or paying hundreds to play Global.

No, the old Pacific and Europe weren’t designed to be combined; the maps don’t fit together. See here for earlier discussion of this topic:

You have most of the pieces. You can down load the rules ror free. There are free map files. Costs some money to print.
Might b cheaper, better, faster to sell those copies and use proceeds to buy global.
Since those games are out of print, you might get good money on ebay. Just looked europe selling for $40-$65 used with shipping. Pac is $40-$55
Total$80-$120.
You should be able to find both global games at one place for $130-$150. New free shipping.
Just looked at gamenerdz (great place. I preordered anniv there for less then i saw anyone pay)
$60 bucks each. Free shipping total $120. Not to much more $$$ if you sell for decent price -

Incorrect Bob, there was a to combine the early PAC EURO games with a mod that someone made a LONG way back. :lol:
I think it’s on HBG. Basically you needed a map extension and a few new rules to make it work.

Oh, I guess you were right that they weren’t designed to be put together.
Ok, my bad. :-P
But they can be combined by mods. :-D
