    Hmm, Allies seem to to have made a good Job in Europe. Africa, Gibraltar, Egypt, Axis domination everywhere, the Allied fleet taking hot baths in Iceland’s Geysirs.

    So while a -103 for Japan should mean death for the Axis, I am not sure this time.

    Yeah China also hammered Japan last two turns.   Japan has lost the bulk of it’s navy and airforce.

    What it hasn’t lost is it’s strategic positioning.  If it can hold on for a turn or two, with minimal loss of ground; it will be just fine.

    Are you kidding?  If you survive you’re a hero!  Just look at the italian tank!  For the amount of medals those guys are going to have weighing down thier chests for the rest of their lives; I might as well knight them and make it into a suit of armor!

    I grant that UK did terrible this game, but sometimes that happens. The med is dicey with many small battles and few units on each side.  If Italy gets the momentum it can go nuts.  So whatever.

    Now look at what Russia did.  What round did Barbarossa start?  I believe Germany had advanced as far as East Poland as of round 5.  How often does a Russia player manage that??  I’ve seen games where Moscow falls on round 5.

    If the med had gone the other way (which it could easily have done), no one would be claiming that the Europe side was mismanaged.  I ran Russia better than most people would do, and I also happen to be playing a guy who is among the top 5 players in the league.
