    Defending infantry in w. India got 5 hits first round. At that point before rolling the next round, I new the game was lost.

    So, I ran both of these battles practice before doing it live. In the practice, the UK got overly diced…I new it was over the top of course.

    In the practice, I lost only 1 air unit in w. India while wiping out the remaining infantry so no chance of retaking it. In the India battle, the three defenders only got 1 defensive hit (average) I thought, ok, I’ll have a chance in the game. Nope.

    I like your allied strategy of the US going all out Germany first which slowed down my advance, let Russia collect some NOs money for a few turns which distracted Germany. I thought about trying to make a beeline straight to Moscow…but thought Japan was going to be ok and didn’t need to take that risk.

    I thought you should have attacked W India the turn before. I also think you could have lost a bomber in the attack on India but then I would have just been able to retake it.

    Anyway, I’m not really sure why I haven’t had more success with this plan. I think I just haven’t sorted out the nuances. The naval base on Iceland allows you to sail around a blocker in SZ124, but two blockers can still stop the advance. You also need to be careful that they can’t sink your fleet in SZ123. Besides those two problems, I think the plan is great!
