Yam feels really stuck. As good as he’s doing, his turn is boring. I feel stretched trying to keep out Anzac and hold off the US fleet. It’s a real stalemate.
Italy feels the same. Just enough to hold on to what he has.
The French/Dutch Spanish move is interesting. My French gains will start to unravel, I just hope taking England can offset that somehow? It’s more territory to defend, and territory that isn’t on the mainland, so we’ll see how this plays out. And the UK has a second capital anyway, so they’re not really out of the fight. :|

I’m still concerned even though I’m up on income. I can mention specific things I thought you could have done to make life miserable for me but didn’t once we’re done. :-D
I will say, to gain the upper hand you’ll need to be more aggressive than you are. For example, the Dutch had 7 tanks and 2 armored cars that could have attacked Langu-something in southern France. 56% of winning. It’s not about taking everything when you must use a combined 1-2-3 attack with France/Dutch/US moves. It’s about attacking me where I’m weakest. Each turn you delay assaulting souther France (one big area of concern for me), is another turn you’ve given me a repreive where I can buy more bunkers and defensive units.
Instead you took the factory with ONE armored car. Why not all 7 tanks and 2 armored cars? Then you could even land US fighters there to make it even tougher for me to take back. Make it costly for me to take back. AND, had you done that, I have to use planes that should have gone to the London assault there instead, making my London victory more costly. PLUS, since I have to use mostly planes to take the territory back, I’ll only liberate it with 1 land unit. Italy can’t reinforce it at all, THEN you have France take it back with 2 tanks and planes.
I try to consider “ALL-IN” moves. For instance, were the roles reversed: If the US brings everything to assault the Italian stack in Morrocco (including brining in 1 marine and 3 inf at the sacrifice of a battle transport and sub/dd), Italy will win, but be down to 26-28 units. If France attacks on its turn with everything including the 5 fighters in Spain that can make it, it all depends on how much Italy reinforces. If Italy does nothing, France is guaranteed victory. If I reinforce with what I have, France still wins. I have 4 transports, but to get you down to a 40-50% chance, I’ve removed all defense from Southern France. If you continue to push there AND oblierate the stack, I’m now losing ground on two fronts. If I reinforce such that you don’t attack, it’s still a stalemate for me in Africa, while weakening the mainland.
It would be a risky move, but at this point if you feel you’re losing and need to do something, you’ll have to attack.
The same applies for the UK India stack. Thailand has very little money to rebuild and Hisaichi is stretched thin. Whatever stack you attack will be obliterate. Yes, you know I will destroy the stack with whichever force you didn’t kill, HOWEVER, removing the Hisaichi stack would help China out tremendously, right? And the Thailand stack may be needed to help out vs China and not threaten India. Even if the remaining Thai stack moves towards India, with what you have on the board, the 3-4 turns it would take the stack to reach New Delhi, and the amount of units the UK can buy for India, Thai has no chance of taking it. You helped out China with little risk but 2-3 ICs worth of territory.
There could be some downsides about losing other Indian territory or if some of the fights don’t go per the calculator, but they could also come out better than expected. China has the advantage vs Hisaichi forces now, and even more so should the UK help out. Losing London and the temporary monitary lose will sting, but they still have a capital left, meaning the majority of your money post-London fall would place 12 units / round in India. Thai can’t compete with that, nor can Hisaichi.
If you think about production capacity, Thai only places 6 / round, plus 2 hits for a bunker. Hisaichi gets maybe 2 / round plus 2 hits for a bunker. India can place 12 / round, and if they focus on one half vs the other, you can push the front. Once I’m retreating, I won’t be placing bunkers. And with the loss of London, you’ll more likely be purchasing expensive units compared to my infantry only. Hisaichi is stretched thin trying to hold on to three different fronts.
