    I could keep playing for victory in the Pacific but I don’t think the Japanese can overcome the Americans.

    Yeah, I thought I was mostly playing reasonably well but the dice definitely decided this one.

    I was ridiculously lucky with dice. I hit 3 times in the sea battle. I took the sub and carrier as casualties as I figured you could edit them back in and take the air instead.

    Hmm, I should have done so.

    So I guess I did stuff up here. What if I didn’t? Japan would have taken Calcutta in two turns. Italy would have attacked NW Persia*. Assuming it cleared the land units, Germany would have taken Persia, probably taken Iraq, retaken Norway and Denmark, hit the SZ112 fleet and regrouped in Ukraine.

      • Seems there’s a bug in TripleA if you were allowed to land planes there

    So I was actually feeling pretty good about how I was doing in this game.

    Not sure if I was clear before. I absolutely agree that I won this on the basis of very lucky dice rolls at key moments.

    And sorry about NW Persia. Didn’t realize I couldn’t do that.
