If not, please give some examples of postings, where you fail to see the images.

I agree that it’s probably just the Photobucket pics that have disappeared.  Other pics seem to be displaying normally, for example in this thread: Axis and Allies.org Boards > General > Axis & Allies Customizations > Global Gaming Table Threads and Pictures.

You might also need to have a certain amount of posts (5-10?) to be able to download other users post attachments or make your own attachments.
