I’m going to go with “Not.” I’ve seen one woman with a tattoo that was elevated in hotness by the tattoo. Usually the tattoo drags her down. The pin-up goes on the plane not the plane on the pin-up.

In Germany, you would not see that. Taco Bell only thrives in inner city areas where poor people live. Nobody keeps their pants below the bolero because its too cold to even be that stupid.

No, it wasn’t. She had a “curly cue” sort of thing on the top outside of her foot. It was tasteful and I remember largely because my reaction to it was such a surprise and very much atypical. She was already very attractive though.

There is a reason why most dog pounds in the city have predominantly two breeds of dogs: Pit Bulls and Chihuahuas.
The owners bought them because either Taco Bell or Gangsta Rap music. They had no idea what they were getting into aside from the “glamour” of some stupid idea they got. Just like that first idiot who wore his pants in prison under his groin, so as to get “street credibility” for looking tough. These people can’t even take care of themselves let alone an animal.
There is truth on both sides here.
As for the tattoo… that is awesome. First of all, a female having something like that as a tattoo is highly out of the ordinary and would immediately garner a certain level of interest or artistic respect from me. Even better than that, the image is a memorial to her grandfather and his service. Infinitely better than getting a name and date tattooed on yourself. The symbolism is great.

Not true… I served in Germany for 5 years… I went to Taco Bell in both Kaiserslautern and Spangdahlem… pretty sure they’re both still there to this day. I have a Boxer… great dogs.

USAF 20 years (I was actually stationed in Spangdahlem, but I traveled all over Europe, K-Town was a common hangout for me)… it is funny that people assume everyone in the USAF is a pilot, but very, very few in the Air Force are actually pilots.
Having said that, I don’t recall if the Taco Bells I went to in Germany were on “US Soil” or downtown on German soil… I do specifically recall going to McDonalds and Pizza Hut on German soil… there are many US food franchises on German soil… speaking of “US Soil” in Germany… people get upset if we still have military bases in countries like Iraq or other such countries “after the war is over”, but man… 70 years later we’re still ‘occupying’ all three Axis powers of Germany, Italy and Japan! lolz. Oh, and for Private Panic, we’re still overpaid, oversexed and “over here” in England too (as the phrase goes)… we still need to protect England from the continentals.

The concept of extraterritoriality, which applies notably to embassies, can also apply to military bases, but would only apply to a fast food restaurant if the said restaurant was located in an embassy or on such a base.

It’s not “if”, it “DOES” exist. Just because its an American chain, doesn’t mean its for Americans only. Many US chains are “on the economy” and in German towns outside US bases and they get plenty of German customers… as for those on the US installations themselves, you think that ONLY Americans serve there? You’re very naïve on how the US military bases work overseas… they usually all have very sizeable civilian workforces from the host nation… Spangdahlem and Ramstein are certainly no exceptions as both have hundreds of German civilians working… AND EATING at the local base facilities… yes… INCLUDING TACO BELL.

I never said its the greatest food on Earth, but there seems to be some sort of conspiracy around here to deny they exist in Germany when the do, then when that nonsense is proven wrong, to somehow pretend no German eats there. You’d be mistaken on all parts of that.
What i meant is the customer flow must be mostly service men and their families that’s keeping them afloat. Germans have no interest in Enciritos and Frito Burritos. They serve anybody but i doubt it’s anything but a curiosity. But now in Japan they eat anything, so its big in Japan most likely.

Ya… Japanese are crazy about anything American (especially the younger ones). Here’s another tidbit about US Bases in Germany… because they have so many German civilians working on the base, they also have German Cantinas on the US Base serving traditional German food (and selling for [at the time] Deutsch Marks)… to be honest, I often ate at the German Cantina… I love me some Jaeger Schnitzel.

I did get around Germany quite a bit in the five years I was there, and I used to make it a point to spend some time every fall around Berchtesgaden and get over to Salzburg as well… the Bavarian Alps are so beautiful in the fall… so, eating on the economy was no problem for me… I have enjoyed Drei-in-a-Weckla, as well as Elisenlebkuchen and Küchla… so ya, I loved German bakeries and any variation of “pig on a bun” I was always happy with (especially that German mustard). I used to drive around in my Opel Manta… and no, I don’t know any hairdressers (if that joke is still around).
