Forgot to move several Bri during NCM, edited them in ANZ turn. Bri has good income, but to take out Ita or even just to maintain a surface fleet to deny Ita the 5 P.U. N.O. would require using all resources, and even then, Ger could bring in troops and planes. But if Bri ignores Ita and builds in UK, then Ita generates enough cash each turn to breakout. Bri will continue building some stuff in Egypt to guard its cash generating terr. Allied buildup in Eng Cha is too late, as Ger doesn’t need to build anymore in Rus. Anz is another small player that is hard to get rid of. Trying for permanent occupation of Java.

What a mess. That is definitely the worst round of attacking I’ve ever had. Your single units hit in all 7 battles and even hit twice apiece in two, preventing capture! I battle calced my moscow army for the counter-attack a couple times each time i pulled a mech away to Caucasus but forgot on the last one to minus infantry from the hits from 8 russian moscow inf. They also hit above average and scored four, shocker :roll:

Wow, from the marti emails, I was thinking that Rus could destroy the Cau army using Rus tanks and mech that could move thru Stalin, plus all planes. After opening the file, I see that Rus actually has a 54% chance of retaking Mos and destroying the Ger army. But the bat cal also shows that Ger could win with almost as many units left as Rus, if Rus wins. I’ve got nothing to lose by gambling here. This is my last best chance. Too bad there is only 1 allied unit that could reach Mos to continue the attack if Rus fails.

I did the math and can’t save Rus planes. No Axis ground troops adjacent to either Mos or Rus planes, but Ger can move 2 spaces and Jpn can block. Ger air too powerful if it wanted to move all bombers east. But may not want to.

Why did Ger build airbase in Yugo? I know you want figs to scramble for Ita sea, but N Italy is better, as it covers 2 sz and flex for shuttling between Ger and Ita. If your figs couldn’t reach Italy this past turn, that was an expensive build for a one-time situation.

While the amazing dice favored the Allies across the board on Ger turn, it didn’t affect the situation on Rus counterattack on Mos. A low luck dice on Mos would have saved Ger just 1 inf in the attack on Mos. It was the size of the Ger move on Cau that gave Rus a slight advantage. W/o Ger planes being able to land with the army, even that large army was vulnerable. Slightly favorable dice on round 1, and Rus losing attackers with power of 1 and Ger losing defenders at power of 2, snowballed the odds in Rus favor on each successive die round. But despite the battle gain of +134 PU and the other favorable battles, Ger is still in a strong position and has a big cash base. The allies are not in position to help Rus much and Jpn is positioned to hinder. Jpn is also in a strong position.

Umm, no. In LL that you referenced, you have an average of 5.00 units remaining and a +52 TUV swing. I would retake russia two turns later after killing brit blocker. Don’t understate the dice on this round when it’s this massive of a difference.
