Trying to post a topic with a link. Board tells me I’m not allowed to post a link. Why?

Because we don’t want spam. Your first post and you want a link usually means you could care less about this site and just want a shout out.

Just post about the game in some meaningful way, sharing your ideas, strategy.

You need to have done a number of posts - I think it is 10 - before you can post a link.

Actually, the primary reason is spam. In some situations, IL is correct but yes somebody’s first post could be a link to a map so that you could talk about strategy.

10 posts is either very hard or very easy but I think if you dive in and respond to a few posts in a constructive manner, you’ll find it’s quite easy. One idea is to revive a really old conversation with your ideas on it.
