Triple hit in the last round when it was 4 against 3. We won’t even rehash the horribly one-sided AAA (oops, I just did) and that insane luck in 109 on G1.How about the Russian mech and armor lost to 1 Italian unit in TrJ? I could be collecting +7 a turn at this point if the stupid tank had survived. And you’re gobbling up Eastern Russia because of the triple hit in Manchuria after I got sucked in to disaster after promising early rounds.
Why do I even join these playoffs. It is not fun to get repeatedly hosed in a long game that takes months, and hours and hours of gameplay. Oh, it’s been fun coming up with some of these masterful moves, but wow. Games like this make me want to just wail on average players.

Always especially painful when I get bad convoy rolls because I hate that rule change anyway. The automatic 1 per ship and 2 per sub and 2 per plane was better, and ever since pointing that out karma is giving me the shaft
I guess I got 2 more damage than I could have had, and my subs can operate with impunity for another turn. Maybe next time they’ll do 0 damage.

About an year ago JDOW asked me how I manage the unfavorable dice? Posting my response to share my experience.Broken windows, furniture, and dozen laptops. Alcohol doesn’t already help. Need something stronger. Reading, e.g., the hobo’s dice comments is really a good relief - never let’s you feel alone. A few divorces as result. Neighbors are watching my games on-line, pray to dice, and call police,if the dice is bad. When police comes they usually force me to play Axis & Allies .
Seriously, that is the dice game. Everybody including me was in the same boat when it goes against any reasonable assumptions. You know I am open for any “low luck” accommodations. Btw, no one except hobo was willing to play low luck with me.
Back to the game. The Moscow attack looks at 90%+ for me in a turn, if the rest of the Allies doesn’s send their air to Russia.
So, make your choice. -
