• For OOL, just use common sense. If the dice turn up normal just the normal OOL (first hit battleship, destroyer, cruiser, fighter, second hit battleship for sea zone 111 and first hit battleship, French cruiser, UK cruiser, French fighter, 2x UK fighter, second hit battleship for sea zone 110). If extreme dice occur ask me if you are in doubt.

  • Strange, there should have been a warning such as “are you sure you don’t want to post?” in case you proceed without posting.

  • Also there is a workaround for cases like this:

    When in move history gi back to Russia’s “Turn Complete”, right klick there and klick “Save Game at this point”.
    This creates a manual savegame, that you can attach manually to the post here.

    But you are right, in this case it is fine as it is…

    Not yet at home, so don’t expect my move too soon.  :-)


  • Be very carefull with the ‘save at this point’ functionality in TrippleA. I have seen it corrupt the file more than once. And the tricky thing is that it corrupts it in such a way that most of the time it will not be apparent until turns later. And at that point it is very hard to turn back……

    Yes, I heard about that in the past, though I never experienced that myself. Anyway, I got used to save a lot during the turn, so I would always be able to revert back to a step before without needing this functionality.

    I also got used to ask for every scramble decision, even in case scramble would - in my eyes - not be reasonable.
    So I ask here, too: Scramble to SZ 35?


  • No Scramble for SZ 35. In a case like this you don’t have to ask me. There is no way I can do damage with a scramble in this case.
