    When I tried to post J3, I got my usual error message: IP address posted less than 15 seconds ago.  When I clicked done, it moved on to end of Japan screen but posting option was not available again.  As usual with this game, the save game was emailed to me.  So I forwarded the save game to you by email.

    In the sea battle by India, we each had a sub but no DD and Japan had no surface ships.  Both subs missed.  Japan planes inflicted 3 hits, sinking the Bri surface fleet.  Bri couldn’t take the sub as a hit, because w/o dd the planes couldn’t attack it.  Japan could have taken a plane as a hit to continue against the sub.  But then it would have been sub-o-subo, w/o air support.  Now the Bri sub can sink my trans. 
    Regards Ger, I had wanted to build art instead of inf to provide offensive threat.  But chose a dd instead, in case Bri scrambled and Ger lost its other dds.  This way Ger can take the convoy route and/or move into the Baltic.  But an amphib against Rus is no longer possible.

    scramble both planes.  OOL  sub, dd’s, cru, tcb, fig (which is prob best defense).  I would have liked to keep all 3 planes there, but needed one in W. Ger.  That one extra fig would have turned the odds around.
