Axis momentum was dead after that battle. I lost 6 planes total to your 1. The Japanese had held off declaring war to help Euro axis so they were not in great shape either.

Even with Egypt, I would be torn apart pretty quick in Europe… it would just be one more spot to defend. …

No doubt it was a risky battle but I thought it was worth a try: would have set Russia back a fair bit to lose their airforce.

I felt like the writing was on the wall after the results of Ukraine…

Ok. I didn’t notice that you lost 6 planes. That is devastating for Germany. Thanks for the debriefing. I am more convinced, after a current game where Japan is struggling, that it needs to be attack early with Japan, or I need to figure out how to position better. I was well out of position, and it is hard to get those money islands after the Allies fortify them.
