Actually the i4j_jres folder has never been installed by the original Java installer itself.
It was instead part of an older TripleA installation that came bundled with it.
So the original Java installer can’t “know” about that “wild” version and thus can’t remove it.
This is why you have to clean that up manually.
Dice Server problems

As of writing this, the MARTI dice server returns an error message in TripleA.
The issue has already been reported:

Yes, according to the conversation on Github there might have been a server crash last night.

The issue has been resolved - the dice server works again.
