1. what do attackers and defenders attack and defend at
2. do aaa in the zone attack as well as the one on the factory
3. do tac bombers bomb as well

2. no, the AAA piece is only for regular combats it does nothing during SBR
3. Yes, but they cannot bomb factories, only bases.

My original calculations did not even consider that Japan has to repair the damage it causes. That extra cost means that over two rounds of strat bombing Japan is at around zero net-gain even if no strat bombers were lost in the process.

Fully. Declaring intercept, scramble and kamikaze decisions should be their own phase to provide clarity in the rules. Not for any other reason. Actually resolving those things can still be in conduct combat.

Alsch91 is right. UK only needs to build infantry in London if Germany puts up a credible sea lion threat. Once the threat is over they can build elsewhere and just let the London IC sit damaged.

Many turns later, those UK infantry that were built on round 1 may reinforce an American landing in Normandy/Holland. They can be picked up by transports that were built in Canada, perhaps with some Canadian built artillery units already on board, and dropped wherever the Americans just landed. There is little need to build much in UK if Germany wants to keep strategic bombing

Sending a strategic bomber and/or a tac bomber to bomb airfields to prevent a scramble that may or maynot happen, really spreads the Luftwaffe thin in a turn where there are a lot of must have battles going on for Germany. I recently accomplished sea lion without attacking sea zone 110 in G1 and it gave me good odds everywhere that mattered without risking a single aircraft (much needed when the troops land in London).

If sealion is successful, you can bomb the crap out of Gibralter, and nobody can repair it until london is liberated.

If the US lands in Gibraltar after London falls it counts Gibraltar as it’s own until London’s retaken. So the US repairs it instead.

Not unless an axis power captured it first
