    I’m having dice slightly above the average in these G1 and J1, at least in the main ones. Let’s see how it goes from now on…

    Frankly, I have a different view on that. I consider the G1 dice a monster.

    I mean: 110 was 90%, 111 82%, Normandy 70%, 106 86%. So there was 56% that any of these battles get LOST. And you just did not lose any of them but won both sea battles slightly above average and got a monster result in France and a dream strafe in Yugo.

    To me this boosted the bid from +10 to +30 or so.
    Japan was ok, I hoped for at least 2 hits at Yunnan though.

    But I have to admit, I kind of HATE G1. Look at my last year history and probably the year before. I really can’t recall ANY G1 that has been in my favor as Allies.
    Also, I am still convinced that next to make the things more balanced BM does also a great job to make G1 dice less decisive than vanilla.

    So I won’t certainly blame the G1 dice in case I lose, this is something in the spectrum I have to expect. I am just tired of getting the lower spectrum on my end again and again. But certainly nothing you can do about it:) And I myself was blessed with 2 great G1s in my 2 previous playoff games.


  • a different way of looking at it is like this

    110 is average
    111 allies hit average or slightly above, but axis has very good dice
    106 allies hit above average
    normandy allies are above avearage (axis should have 1.5 units remaing)
    France, this is poor for allies
    Yugo is fairly average, maybe one more hit for allies

    G1 is pretty much standard. Happens to me all the time.

    Sorry to interfer with your game, can’t help it. All in all it is a good round for Germany but nothing special

    This G1 is a good start, I have lost the average planes in the sea battles and the result in France and Yugo were excelent.

    I think in BM you need an average start for the axis to have options in the game.

    This really balances the game a bit more (not yet completely I think), when you face a player who is better than you, you need some help from Marti, but it has not been something decisive or rare.

    I would not say those dice have been a monster, I would say that in case more german planes saved and/or more subs saved.
