Is anyone aware of any dealers who produce C-47 Skytrains in a scale that would work for play in Axis and Allies? I am aware that historicalboardgaming.com makes C-46 Commandos, but I prefer the Skytrain.

Well, late answer to your question, but… Shapeways.com is a website that acts as a store front for 3D modellers to sell their custom wares. If you visit Shapeways, you can find from C-47 transport models available there. The first two I noticed are linked below. https://www.shapeways.com/product/5X6YEBDA7/1-700-c-47-skytrain-x2?optionId=23161699&li=marketplace

I’m not aware of any armed C-47s, but your model has a gun turret.Oh, it’s a nice looking plane and it looks similar to the C-47. But it’s not one, sorry. -Midnight_Reaper

Try Pico Armor as well……about the size of the British OOB Halifax just a tad thicker

The Li-2 is an exact copy of the DC-3/C-47 except for the turret built under license in WW2. If you remove the turret, at this scale you have a C-47.
