@The-Captain You’re absolutely right, but as the Russian player I’ve been glad to see those factories bombed out. Germany has moved the Southern Italy, Berlin, and Paris factories underground as they consider those the main factories they’ll be producing from. The Allies learned this the hard way too the India Industrial Complex took a lot of bombing damage. It’s kind of late but UK may finally put that factory underground.
Looking for Triple A Modder to Help with Proof-of-Concepts for Board Game

Any competent Triple A modders out there that might be interested in testing new maps, units, and rule sets?
-
Not easy to find someone with enough motivation to spend so much time on this.
Barney was a really good fellow while talking on G40 Enhanced thread.
At least, he made a lot of variants. Maybe you can take a look on his archives posts to see if there is some which can suit you as a start-up map and units variants.http://www.axisandallies.org/forums/index.php?action=profile;u=185964;sa=showPosts

Thanks.
The modding tools aren’t as intuitive as I’d hoped they would be. I figured it’d just be a series of drop-down menus, but it’s anything but.

Hi Trenacker
I’m just starting to get back into some stuff. There’s been a lot of changes. What is it that you want to do ?
-
I’m looking to add a number of new territories, both land and sea zones. I’m also looking to add a number of new units, but those types can be pulled from other games.
-
Changing the map is something I haven’t done. Engine preferences at the startup of triplea will get you started. Then you can search the triplea forum or maybe try asking for help over there at maps and mods
-
As best I can tell, the editor expects you to upload a map, then tries to contour to it. Do you know if that is accurate?
-
yea not real map savvy Trenacker so idk. I tried to take an existing map and modify it a while back. Didn’t have much luck, but yea I think that’s kinda what it does
This gives some info on a new map:

Wow. It looks like the learning curve for making TripleA maps is extremely high.
