You never control a sea zone.
Sea zones are either friendly (contain no enemy surface warship) or hostile (contain enemy surface warship(s)).
The result of a sea battle is that you have cleared it of enemy units (or not).

Is there any game like axis and allies 1914 except made like 1941/1942? It can be non Axis and allies, it just has to be a ww1 board game like A&A.

on the left side there is a category called custom maps and games, and in there there is a ww1 map.if you also go to the ‘‘other axis and allies variants’’ forum on this website you will see some people are currently working on making ww1 games
